To provide a solid sliding member injection method which uniformly injects solid sliding member between two components, by solving the following conventional problems:when a solid sliding member is inserted into a small gap formed, for example, between the housing of a rod end and an inner wheel by means of a hydraulic press or the like, it is difficult to uniformly insert the member in the gap and to control press-fitting force, thereby damaging or breaking the product due to strong press-fitting force.

The solid sliding member 6 is heated to a melting temperature. The heated solid sliding member is pressurized by an injection molding method or transfer press or the like, and is injected into the gap between the two components through the hole 15 opened in one of the components constituting the product. The two components are fixed by a sleeve 9 and are fitted into the recess of a receiving pan 12. The melt solid sliding member passes through a nozzle 7 and is injected into the gap of the two components. Thereby, the sliding resistance and the rotational movement of the products is uniformed, while maintaining stability for a long time.
