Load transistors TRs 13 and 14 of an output amplifier 101 are formed with depletion MOS TRs, and gates of these MOS TRs are grounded. An output gate 7 is grounded. A first transfer electrode of a horizontal CCD 5 is grounded, and a second transfer electrode is connected to a single- phase signal input terminal 61, and a stepwise inclined electric potential area is formed under each transfer electrode. A first transfer electrode and a second transfer electrode of a vertical CCD 3 are connected to two-phase signal input terminals 41a and 41b respectively, and a stepwise inclined electric potential area is formed under each transfer electrode. A reset pulse generation circuit 21 is formed between the single-phase signal input terminal 61 and a reser gate 9.
