To provide a solid state imaging device and a driving method of the same which can suppress random noise without generating shading.
A solid state imaging device comprises: a plurality of unit pixels 42; a vertical signal line 9; a feedback amplifier 12; a feedback line 16; a pixel reset signal line 7; a timing control circuit 50; and a reset signal control circuit 60 which adjusts waveform of a reset signal 36 by inclining the waveform at a rear edge of a reset pulse included in the reset signal 36 outputted from the timing control circuit 50. The unit pixel 42 comprises: an amplifier transistor 4; a selection transistor 5; a reset transistor 3; and a photoelectric conversion part 1. Soft reset time from the start of change in the rear edge of the reset pulse controlling ON/OFF of the reset transistor 3 until the reset transistor 3 turns off is same for unit pixels 42 in a same row.
