Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solid state imaging device with an enhanced color mixture prevention function, and a solid state imaging device.SOLUTION: A solid state imaging device 2 is provided that comprises: a photoelectric conversion element 8; a black matrix 4; a planarization layer 11; a color filter layer 3; and a micro lens layer 5 correspondingly to each pixel of the solid state imaging device. The solid state imaging device 2 further comprises a black matrix made of resin black between adjacent photoelectric conversion elements such that light from pixels adjacent to an individual photoelectric conversion element is shielded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
