Title:
SOLID-STATE LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT LAMP AND LUMINAIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012204091
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a solid-state light-emitting element lamp which can be used in place of a fluorescent tube without requiring any improvement or modification of an existing inverter type fluorescent lighting fixture, can maintain lighting even if the supply voltage of the inverter type fluorescent lighting fixture drops gradually, and can contribute to enhancement of versatility while eliminating economic waste due to improvement or modification.

In the circuitry arranged in a straight-tube light-emitting element lamp (LED lamp) similar to a fluorescent lamp, a voltage monitoring IC 44 monitors a pseudo DC voltage applied across a capacitor 33, and calculates the amount of current required for maintaining the lighting of the LED lamp. An LED driver IC 34 is designated to feed an amount of current equal to or larger than the amount of current thus calculated over a signal line 45.
