Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure a solid tire that is inexpensive in manufacturing cost by making any separation preventable and improving durability, while making a product size stabilizable as well as utilizing small pieces of a continuous cord reinforced layer and end straps efficiently.
CONSTITUTION: In this solid tire 1 which is composed of a base part 2 being installed up to a higher position than the height H2 of a rim flange F and consisting of reinforced rubber reinforced by a short fiber, and a tread rubber part 7 being installed at the outside in the tire radial direction of this base part 2 and consisting of only rubber, at least a part of the base part 2 is made up of winding and stacking a discontinuous cord reinforced layer 4 consisting of a discontinuous cord 6 joined with a relatively short rubberized cord zone 3.
