Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a jam of sheet members between a roller and a conveying face by rotating the roller in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of a belt at the same speed as a rotating speed of the belt in a sorting device in which sequentially fed sheet members are placed while partially overlapping to each other so as to be sorted.
CONSTITUTION: A roller 4 is rotated in the direction opposite to the rotating direction of the first belt 3 at the same speed as the rotating speed of the first belt 3, and the number of sheets of fed blanks 2 is detected by means of a measuring sensor 25 while the blanks 2 are pulled into between the roller 4 and the belt 3. When the number of the fed blanks 2 reaches the predetermined sorting number, an air cylinder 24a is oscillated downward by means of a solenoid 24b, and the following blank 2 is overlaid on a partitioning plate 24c. Then, a driving device 26 is driven, and a movable member 23 is moved, while the circulating speed of the second belt 20 is increased more than that of the first belt 3, so that the blanks 2 are separated by the fixed distance in every fixed number of sheets and are sorted.
