Abstract:
To sort paper sheets while properly performing discharged paper sheet alignment.SOLUTION: A sorting device includes: a secondary paper feed roll 45 which conveys paper sheets 41 on a conveyance path while pressing the paper sheets; a paper sheet end displacement mechanism 48 which is provided in the conveyance path and has a push-up member 48b which is provided to be displaceable between a lifting position for lifting ends of the paper sheets 41 from a lower side and a retreat position to be a lower side of a conveyance surface of the conveyance path; and a control section 10 which causes the paper sheet end displacement mechanism 48 to displace the push-up member 48b to the lifting position and causes the secondary paper feed roll 45 to press the sorting paper 41A in a state of lifting the ends of the sorting paper sheets 41A when the paper sheets conveyed in the conveyance path are sorting paper sheets 41A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
