Abstract:
To provide a sorting device allowing detailed determination of a loading state of discharge trays.SOLUTION: A sorting device has: multiple discharge trays 21A-21D loading a sheet P; a sheet sensor 231 moving along the multiple discharge trays 21A-21D and detecting the sheet P loaded on the discharge trays 21A-21D; a moving mechanism 24 for moving the sheet sensor 231 in a previously set moving amount unit along the multiple discharge trays 21A-21d; and a control unit for moving the sheet sensor 231 by controlling the movement of the moving mechanism 24. The control unit controls the movement of the moving mechanism 24, changes stepwise a detection position of the sheet P by the sheet sensor 231 by moving the sheet sensor 231 on the basis of the moving amount unit, to determine a loading state of the discharge trays 21A-21D from presence of the detection of the sheet P by the sheet sensor 231.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
