In a site such as a movie theater for showing a work such as a movie, a plurality of sound output devices 1, 1, 1 such as speakers are arranged at different positions, and sound is output from each of the sound output devices 1, 1, 1. On such a site, when sound is acquired and recorded by a device such as a recorder 5 provided with a sound acquisition device 4 such as a microphone, the sound output from each of the sound output devices 1, 1, 1 is recorded. Using a locating apparatus 6, time differences between each sound output from each of the sound output devices 1, 1, 1 out of the recorded sound are detected, and the acquisition position of sound is located on the basis of the detected time differences and the arrangement positions of each of the sound output devices.
