Abstract:
To provide a sound arrester of a hoist for an elevator which reduces sound noise of the hoist with a simple structure.
A sound arrester of a hoist for an elevator includes: a first vibration damper 13 which is provided on at least one of an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface of a stator cover 5 covering an outer periphery of a stator 9 of a motor used for the hoist for the elevator; and a second vibration damper 14 which is provided on at least one of an outer surface and an inner surface of a suction surface cover 6 covering one side surface of the stator cover 5. The structure reduces sound noise of the hoist.
