Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sound echo canceler which has excellent echo elimination performance and a small arithmetic quantity.
SOLUTION: A subtracter 102 substrates a dummy echo signal from a microphone input signal and outputs a residual echo signal. An adaptive filter 101 estimates and learns a transfer function between a speaker and a microphone by using the residual echo signal. A subtracter 103 estimates a stationary noise component level and a sound signal component in the residual echo signal and attenuates and outputs the residual echo signal. A gain control part 104 makes the attenuation quantity large when the output level of the attenuator 103 is smaller than a received sound signal level and small when the output level of the attenuator 103 is larger than the received sound signal level.
