PURPOSE: To reproduce a sound field similar to an optimum listening point of a concert hall by storing the sound collection microphone transmission characteristic of plural concert halls and the optimum listening point transmission characteristic and correcting an audio signal on the concert stage into the audio signal of plural channels.

CONSTITUTION: The audio signal via a digital interface circuit 10 is given to a 1st acoustic characteristic variable circuit 11, in which the acoustic characteristic is varied and given to a 2nd acoustic characteristic variable circuit 12. When desired concert hall information is inputted, the 2nd acoustic characteristic variable means 12 extracts the optimum listening point transmission characteristic as to a desired concert hall from a storage means and uses the extracted transmission characteristic so as to correct the acoustic characteristic of the audio signal of plural channels given from the 1st acoustic characteristic variable means 11. Thus, the user can enjoy the audio listening similar to that at the optimum listening point of the desired concert hall.
