PURPOSE: To prevent interference between a direct sound component and a reflected sound component in an output signal obtained by adding a false reflected sound signal to an input audio signal by making a low band component not to be contained in the false reflected sound signal by using a filter to re move the low band component.
CONSTITUTION: The input audio signal is supplied to an adder 14, and simultane ously, it is supplied to an HPF(high pass filter) 15, and the output of the HPF 15 is connected to a reflected sound generation circuit 13. Therefore, the low band component is not contained in the false reflected sound signal outputted from the reflected sound generation circuit 13, and this false reflected sound signal is added to the input audio signal by the adder 14. Accordingly, an audio signal outputted from the adder 14 and given sound field correction contains only a direct sound signal as the low band component. Thus, the change or the flatness of rythm due to the interference between a direct sound and a reflected sound are never caused.
