To provide a sound input level adjusting device capable of obtaining a sound signal appropriate in signal level without being repeatedly inputted it by adjusting the signal level of an inputted sound signal.
The sound signal outputted from a microphone 20 is inputted to a level converting part 30, in which three kinds of sound signals different in signal level are generated, and inputted to a sound storing part 40 and a level detecting part 70 respectively. The sound storing part 40 converts plural inputted sound signals into respective digital voice data and then stores them. The data whose signal level is included in a appropriate range are selected from among these digital sound data by the level detecting part 70, an appropriate signal deciding part 80 and a selector 60 and outputted.
