Abstract:
To provide a sound insulating material for piping to be easily executed in a short time.
A sound insulating material 2 for an elbow part formed by adhering a pipe cover 5, which is made of an inorganic fiber such as glass wool or rock wool or a foam group temperature insulating agent such as polyethylene or polyurethane and which is formed into a shape fitting the elbow part, to a sound insulating sheet 4 for integration and formed into a halved shape, having elastic force in a closing direction, is molded into a shape fitting the elbow part of a drain pipe 1. Fitting work to the elbow part of a pipe having a curve is thereby facilitated to shorten the work time.
