Title:
SOUND INSULATION DEVICE USING CRUSHED GRAIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3297002
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure having a high sound insulation effect on noise in which a sound having different nature is mixed.
SOLUTION: A sound insulation device comprises a screen 2 through which a sound is advanced; and a crushed grain layer 4 effecting irregular reflection of a sound advanced through the screen 2 and formed of crushed grains, such as glass, having a number of faces on a surface. Since a sound is advanced as it effects irregular reflection by crushed grains, energy of a sound is gradually decreased, whereby a sound insulation effect is high. Since the crushed grains are formed by crushing waste, such as empty glass bottles and porcelain, and structure is simple, manufacturing is effected at a low cost.
