PURPOSE: To obtain information concerning running sound of an objective vehicle without being influenced by the noise generated by surrounding environment.

CONSTITUTION: This sound listening device for vehicle is provided with microphones 1,2 respectively arranged on the right and left of the front end part of a vehicle body 19 and collecting sound outside the vehicle, a signal processing part 3 having a filter passing a prescribed frequency band of the signals from these microphones 1, 2, and speakers 4, 5 regenerating the output signal from the signal processing part 3 to a sound, and the sound only in the frequency band territory observed specifically in a vehicle running sound is obtained in a vehicle room through the filter.
