Abstract:
To provide a sound producing cell having a high yield rate and high performance.SOLUTION: A sound producing cell 100 comprises a membrane 110 and an actuating layer 130. The actuating layer is disposed on the membrane. The membrane is actuated by the actuating layer for producing sound. The membrane has a plurality of holes to decrease the mass of the membrane. Since the mass of the membrane is decreased, the resonant frequency of the membrane is enhanced for increasing the frequency range of an acoustic wave produced by the sound producing cell, and deformation of the actuated membrane is enhanced for increasing the SPL of the acoustic wave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
