To provide an improved low profile sensor (a flat sensor) formed so as to substantially adapt to the external skin of a patient and an improved sensor which provides a high signal versus noise ratio about sound energy which is the subject of interest.
The improved low profile sensor comprises two or more adaptable sensor elements 20 respectively having the first exterior surface formed so as to be attached to the subject so that the sensor element may substantially adapt to the subject and the second exterior surfaces, and a carrying member 600 removably attached to each of the second exterior surfaces of two or more sensor elements in order to hold the two or more sensor elements in an alignment state while arranging on the subject, wherein after the sensor element 20 is attached to the necessary place of the subject, the carrying members 600 is released from the sensor element 20 without moving the sensor element 20 from the necessary place.
