Abstract:
To prevent ingress of rain water through a gap between an upper surface of a flange provided at a base and a lower end edge of a soundproof case.SOLUTION: A bracket 21 is attached to an outer surface of a side wall 12 of a base 10 by means, such as intermittent fillet welding performed at predetermined intervals, so as to protrude in a horizontal direction farther than a predetermined height position of the side wall 12. Further, a portion, which is located above an attachment position of the bracket 21, of the side wall 12 of the base 10 is formed as a water stop 22 which prevents ingress of rain water from a gap Δ between the bracket 21 and a lower end edge of a soundproof case 30. In the structure, the water stop 22 is formed by a part of the side wall 12 of the base 10 to achieve water tightness without filling the gap with a sealant etc. Further, since a gap δ exists between the outer surface of the side wall 12 of the base 10 and the bracket 21, rain water on the bracket 21 flows through the gap δ to prevent rain water from accumulating on the bracket 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
