Title:
SOUNDPROOF CONSTRUCTION AND SOUND INSULATING WALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3898110
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof construction or a sound insulating wall efficiently improved in sound-insulating performance at a low installation cost and excellent in draft/ventilating properties and appearance visibility.
SOLUTION: In the soundproof construction 1 with slits 2 as openings, a plurality of sound tubes 4 in which terminals are closed are juxtaposed towards insides of soundproof construction bodies 3 from side faces of the slits 2, and the soundproof construction 1 is constituted so that acoustic impedance on the side faces of the slits 2 is brought to zero by setting lengths of these tubes 4 to the quarter of the wavelength of a sound wave as a sound-insulating object in noise. It is more preferable that each width (d) of the slits 2 is set to the half or less of the wavelength of the sound wave as the sound-insulating object.
