Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device reduced in toner scattering and fluctuation of image density.
SOLUTION: The reduced amount of the potential difference of contrast potential is compensated by a developing bias voltage generating circuit 126 and a grid bias voltage generating circuit 124 in accordance with the number of image-forming times at the image forming device 2, so that the image density is maintained constant. Also, this device possesses a developing mechanism where the average particle size of carrier, the average particle size of toner, toner density, the diameter of a developing sleeve and the circumferential speed of the developing sleeve are optimized, so that high image density is secured even though the diameter of the developing sleeve is small and also the toner scattering is reduced. Thus, the image forming device where the toner scattering and the fluctuation of the image density are reduced is provided.
