PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane material which has a great soundproof effect, which can be easily attached to a soundproof house, and which has high portability.SOLUTION: A membrane material 100 includes a membrane material body 110, and a belt-like belt membrane material 120 that is fixed thereto by an attachment region 121. The two belt membrane materials 120 are paired. Both ends of a horizontally-long sound absorbing mat 200 or their vicinities are inserted into a pair of loops that are made of the belt membrane material 120 and the membrane material body 110.
