Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a MIX function such that ordinary sound effect attaching control can be conducted also for the next source output after the source is switched without significantly changing the hardware configuration of a DSP.
SOLUTION: Upon switching an audio source, a previous source output from a primary 10 having a sound effect attaching function during a short time interval T1 to T2 where muting is applied before the switching is switched and allocated to a secondary 20 not having the same function, and the next source reproduced after the switching is allocated to the primary 10. Thereafter, the previous source of the secondary 20 is faded out and the next source of the primary 10 is faded in to hereby surely fade-in output the next source from the primary 10. Hereby, the ordinary sound effect attaching control can be conducted also for the next source output after a mix processing.
