This composition is obtained by including preferably ≥41 wt.% of an isoflavone mixture having ≥50 wt.%, preferably ≥65 wt.% of genistein- based isoflavone content, and preferably ≤5 wt.% glycitein-based isoflavone content. The composition is produced by, e.g. using soybean whey as a raw material and concentrating an eluted solution obtained by adsorbing.eluting by using a synthetic adsorbing resin. The soybean whey is an aqueous layer fraction obtained in separating protein by acid precipitation from an aqueous solution of soybean protein obtained by extraction of soybean with water.
