Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the office space by laterally juxtaposing desks having recessed parts on the front edges of top plates to form a plurality of desk groups, and attaching a plurality of auxiliary tables each of which can be housed in the empty part under the top plate and has a recessed part on the front edge to the desk groups.
SOLUTION: Each desk 1 has a top plate 3 having a rectangular flat form, and the front edge of the top plate 3 has a recessed part 3a and a protruding part 3b so as to have a wavy form. A plurality of desks 1 are arranged in parallel so that the end part of the recessed part 3a of one desk is continued to the end part of the protruding part 3b of the other desk to constitute one desk group 2. Two of such desk groups 2 are arranged in a relation where workers are situated back to back, and a movable auxiliary table 6 having a substantially rectangular flat form is arranged so as to be capable of being drawn from the under space of each desk 1. Thus, the office space can be saved.
