To provide a spacer for reinforcements, which is arranged at an intersection of the reinforcements irrespective of presence/absence of lap-jointed reinforcements.

The spacer is formed of a synthetic resin, and consists of a main body 1 formed like a cross, a front arm 2, a cylindrical reinforcement fitting portion 5 hung downward from the front arm 2, which is vertically penetrated and has a C-shaped cross section by opening one end thereof, and right and left arms 4a, 4, L-shaped hook pieces 7a, 7 which are erected on the arms 4a, 4, and have upper projecting pieces 8a, 8, respectively. The upper projecting pieces 8a, 8 are oriented frontward and an interval between the upper projecting pieces 8a, 8 and the front arm 2 is set to a value equal to the diameters of the two reinforcements. Therefore the two lap-jointed reinforcements Y, Y1 or the single reinforcement Y is locked by the hook pieces 7, 7a, and a reinforcement X crossing the reinforcement Y or the reinforcements Y, Y1 is fitted into the reinforcement fitting portion 5.
