Abstract:
Apparatus and the method for mounting the spare tire are provided that the spare tire can be moved to the simple manipulation in the tire pick-up to the rearward of the rear bumper. An apparatus for mounting the spare tire comprises a rear floor in which the spare tire is mounted, a rear floor center side member(2) installed at the lower part of the rear floor according to backward and forward of the vehicles, a back beam(3) installed at the rear floor end portion in the width direction of the vehicles, a holder(5) installed at the rim part of the spare tire, a link device(1) uniting the rear floor center side member, the back beam and holder, a rack-and-pinion device(6) including the rack sliding, a manipulating cable mounting the spare tire, a restoring device restoring first shift of the link combined with holder with the spare tire equipment location.
