Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain-type spare tire carrier and an assembling method of the same, which is excellent in workability during assembly and can achieve cost reduction.SOLUTION: A spare tire carrier comprises: a case 1 in which horizontal through holes 14, 15 are formed on a pair of side walls 12, 13 suspended from both sides of a ceiling surface; a chain wheel 3 stored inside the case 1; and a chain guide 4 attached to the case 1 from below. A horizontal through hole 17 is formed on a side plate 16 of the chain guide 4. The chain wheel 3 and the chain guide 4 are attached to the case 1 by making a drive shaft 7 of the chain wheel 3 penetrate through the through holes 14, 15, 17 of the case and the chain guide.
