To provide a spare tire mounting tool that has a simple structure, allows the height width to be switchable according to a tire, and also, allows simple and sure mounting of both of two types of tires.
This mounting tool 10 is configured as follows. It includes: an outer frame body 12 provided on the lower surface of a floor 102 and holding the tire outer periphery; and a tire support part 14 for supporting a tire from below. The tire support part 14 has a receiving member 54 in contact with the tire lower surface, and movable arm members 50, 52 respectively whose both ends are oscillably connected to the outer frame body 12. The receiving member 54 is displaced according to the oscillating positions of the movable arm members 50, 52. The receiving member is configured to be settable to a first state in which the interval in-between the lower surface of the floor 102 is set to an interval corresponding to the tire width of one of two types of tires, and a second state in which the receiving member is located at a lower position than that of when it is in the first state and the interval in-between the lower surface of the floor 102 is set to an interval corresponding to the tire width of the other tire of the two types of tires which is wider than that of the one tire of the two types of tires.
