Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spare tire supporter capable of suppressing resonance of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A spare tire supporter 3 includes an elastic body 5 which is provided to a vehicle and supports a spare tire. The elastic body 5 has a structure which increases in the spring constant as the spare tire increases in mass when the spare tire differs in mass with the kind, and functions as a dynamic damper which suppresses resonance of the vehicle together with the spare tire. When the spring constant needed for the function as the dynamic damper increases as the spare tire increases in mass, the elastic body 5 has its shape, hardness, etc., so set that the actual spring constant increases in such a case. Therefore, even when the spare tire supported by the spare tire supporter 3 differs depending upon the kind of the tire, The spare tire supporter 3 functions as the dynamic damper so as to suppress the resonance of the vehicle.
