Abstract:
To provide a device, streaming server, media presentation description, method, and a program capable of more efficient rendering on partial presentation of streamed space scene content by adaptive streaming.SOLUTION: In the method, a selection is made such that a plurality of media segments 64 is encoded to a media segment selected at a predetermined quality and a second portion 66 of a time-varying spatial scene spatially adjacent to a first portion 64 has at least a spatial section of the encoded time-varying spatial scene using a method in which the media segment 58 selected from 46 at a predetermined quality is encoded into the selected media segment at a further quality that satisfies a predetermined relationship with respect to the first portion of a spatial section 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
