Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spear-like holder for fixing a connector, especially a through fitting type or surface fitting type connector onto a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: This holder comprises four parts 14, 16, 18, and 20 connected to each other, wherein the respective parts include sided surfaces 22, 26, 30, 36 and end surfaces 24, 28, 32 and 38-40. The above end surface 32 has at least one inclined part for facilitating insertion, one of the above end surfaces 38-40 is forms an inclined part interfering with the wall part of a hole 80 to be engaged, and the other one forms a jaw part 42. When the holder is inserted, the fourth part 20 is bent to the second part 16 side to achieve interfering engagement in the hole 8.
