Abstract:
To obtain a fluffed fabric with firm texture, with its surface having soft but firm touch feeling, and having beautiful luster and deep color tone.
Continuous polyester fibers in at least either of the surface layers of a polyester fabric are taperedly cut everywhere to form surface fluffs. At least one side of this fabric is coated with a treating liquid having a viscosity of 200-1500 poise and formulated with an ingredient capable of decomposing or dissolving the continuous polyester fibers to effect lowering the sectional area of the fiber at a part being in contact with the liquid and cutting them, thus obtaining the objective fabric.
