To solve the following problems of a conventional method for extracting a green portion satisfying G>R, B wherein color information of each pixel is R, G, B: a portion of gray color or the like satisfying G>R, B may be included instead of all the green portions as a result; and a portion other than vegetation such as a green rooftop or a green surface of the sea may be erroneously extracted.
This automatic specific area extraction system comprises: an input means 100 inputting an aerial photograph, and inputting a DSM (Digital Surface Model) and mesh data from a DB means 200; a candidate extraction means 300 extracting an area of specific color of an image; a ground processing means 400 removing noise of the ground; a building processing means 500 removing a rooftop of a building as noise; and an output means 110 outputting a processing result.
