Abstract:

To provide a specifying method of an optimum magnetic steel sheet related to an application in which compressive stress acts in the internal direction of the steel sheet surface of a shrink-fitted and fixed core, etc.

The selecting method of the magnetic steel sheet for a motor core uses a nonoriented magnetic steel sheet having a plane anisotropy index S of 0.06 or less for the core. The plane anisotropic index S is obtained from S=4×(Bmax-Bmin)/(B500+2B5045+B5090) using magnetic flux densities B500, B5045, B5090, excited and measured by a frequency of 50 Hz, a magnetizing force of 5,000 A/m in rolling directions of the steel sheet of 0°, 45° and 90° and a maximum value Bmax and a minimum value Bmin.
