Abstract:

To enable a person taking part in a conference call halfway to grasp the progress of the conference call to nicely take part in the conference call.

Supposing that a user C uses a phone 24c to make a request of taking part in the conference call while users A, B use phones 24a, 24b to held the conference call, the speech control apparatus 10 reproduces recordings of contents talked between the users A, B and transmits the reproduced contents to the phone 24c, which allows the user C to hear the contents. When the reproduction is finished, the phones 24a, 24b are connected to the phone 24c, and the users A, B, C can make the conference call. Since the user C can hear the reproduced recordings of the contents talked between the users A, B and the user C can take part in the conference call after grasping the progress of the conference call between the users A, B, the user C can nicely take part in the conference call.
