Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure stop position control over a traveling unit by setting the speed of the traveling unit to a low speed by switching on detecting the traveling unit reaching a low-speed traveling range provided by a low-speed setter when replacing the control-rod driver of a nuclear reactor. CONSTITUTION:Attachment-detachment unit 10 attaches or detaches control rod drivers 4, handling unit 9 carriers units 4 out to a fixed place, and units 10 and 9 move to fixed positions by traveling unit 21. Here, low-speed setter sets the low- speed traveling range of unit 21 near the arrival target positions of units 10 and 9 and, when detecting 20 unit 21 reaching the low-speed range, places unit 21 in low-speed traveling mode by switching. Consequently, the stop position control can be secured.
