A velocity mapping system (202) comprising a sensor system (204) and an airflow mapper (206). The sensor system (204) is configured to generate data (232) about a velocity (218) of airflow (214) for a location in a duct system (216). The airflow mapper (206) is configured to receive the data (232) from the sensor system (204) and generate a profile (236) of the velocity (218) of the airflow (214) at the location (230) in the duct system (216).
