Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a speed reducer which adequately lubricates a bearing supporting an output shaft at low costs.SOLUTION: A speed reducer includes: an output flange 70 to which output rotation of a deceleration mechanism part 10 is transmitted; an output shaft 80 which is integrated with the output flange and has a diameter smaller than that of the output flange; and a first taper roller bearing 81 supporting the output shaft. The output flange includes: a flange body part 71; a restriction part 72 which is formed at the radial inner side of the flange body part and restricts axial movement of an inner ring 81A of the first taper roller bearing at a position protruding to the output side relative to the flange body part; and an oil hole 73 which allows a deceleration mechanism part side space and a first taper roller bearing side space to communicate with each other. The oil hole is formed at the flange body part so as to be arranged in parallel with an axial direction X of the output flange.
