Abstract:
PURPOSE: To deal with clogging of a regulator without impairing a normal driving of a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling a regulator 14 of a vehicle having a drive unit 10 is provided, and the apparatus moves the regulator at a stage before starting the drive unit and/or after stopping by departing the regulator from an arbitrary position and moves at least in a most part of the maximum possible moving range at least one time. Accordingly, the regulator is moved to one side out of the normal moving range. Thus, a dirt accumulated on an end of the moving range of the regulator is removed, thereby preventing clogging of the regulator.
