Abstract:
PURPOSE: To measure correct blood pressure fluctuation by performing measurements times in a short period of time during which blood pressure fluctuation by a living body is not much, and making sure that blood pressure fluctuation is within a range it is supposed to be the fluctuation due to normal living bodies.
CONSTITUTION: Blood pressure measurements are continuously carried out specific plural times in a short period during which blood pressure is not much fluctuated by a living body. If the fluctuation width of the measured values is within a specific range at or before the specific plural measurements, the measurements are regarded as being highly reliable. In this case, one of the plural measured values is selected as a central value and the average value of the plural measurement data is used as measurement data to calculate blood pressure fluctuation. If the fluctuation width is out of the specific range after the measurements are made specific plural times, a specific number of data with values closest to the specific range are selected from among the data on the specific number of measurements, and then one of the selected data is selected as a central value used as measurement data, or the average value of the selected data is used as measurement data.
