PURPOSE: To obtain the subject wheel capable of readily attachinng and detaching to a running wheel and capable of preventing a slip of the running wheel by pivoting spikes in a specified state at the peripheral parts of an adapter base plate having bolt holes for fixation to the running wheel.

CONSTITUTION: Spikes are rotatably pivoted through a pivoting pin 6 to an adapter base plate 3 so that the spikes 5 may be projected leaving a space of a prescribed angle in the outside centrifugal direction of a running wheel when fixed to the running wheel by a bolt. An elastic ring 8 is engaged with the engaging hook 7 on the bottom part of the respective spikes and normal- rotation stoppers 9 and reverse-rotation stoppers 10 are projecting attached, respectively. The running wheel can be prevented from slipping in the case forward movement and smooth running is possible without influence of the spikes in the case backward movement.
