To provide a spindle holder in a yarn supplying apparatus for a torchon lace machine capable of preventing twisting, untwisting and thread breakage of braided yarn attributable to the autorotation of a yarn supplying apparatus by effectively preventing the rotation of the yarn supplying apparatus on braiding.

Magnets 6a, 6b are mounted on the outer peripheral part of the bearing 2 and/or sliding member 3 in a spindle holder 1, the magnets having the shaft line L of the spindle holder 1 between them. This structure prevents the autorotation of the spindle 5 on braiding by the magnetic action on a track plate 4 of the magnets, and as a result, the yarn supplying apparatus can be operated without autorotation.
