Abstract:

To provide a spinning unit equipped with a clump crown at a cutting device having a ring-shaped body arranged at an under-winding zone of its spindle and capable of cutting a yarn accurately and surely.

This spinning unit is provided by arranging a cutting device 2 having a ring-shaped body in an under-winding zone of its spindle 1, equipping a clump crown 3 at the cutting device and opening a clump gap 15 for entering a yarn at the crown so that the yarn transverses also the cutting gap 17 of the cutting device when the yarn gets into that place. The plural cutting gaps form a cutting blade zone 22 for the yarn, the yarn is surely held and strained by the clump crown and the cutting is performed by the cutting device in the strained zone of the yarn.
