Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a spiral cutting device for a rope chain by which machine work of the rope chain becomes possible and variously designed rope chains can be manufactured.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral cutting device for a rope chain is composed of a work guide 9 to movably guide a rope chain 10 having a spiral groove in the axis direction while rotating it with the axis as its center, a delivery mechanism 19 and a widing mechanism 20 to give feed in the axis direction while rotating the rope chain 10 with the axis as its center and a cutter 40 arranged opposite to the work guide 9 so as to cut the spiral groove of the rope chain by rotating along the spiral groove of the rope chain 10.
