PURPOSE: To easily apply the spiral groove work freely with the constant pitch or the arbitrary variable pitch in a continuous form, permit the winding even if a tube is long and thin, improve productivity, and manufacture the tube having a spiral groove, with high yield and at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral groove working machine is constituted of a drum 21 for sending out a metal tube 1, driving source 4 for feed, driving source 10 for revolution, center shaft 11 which transmits the revolution of the driving source 10 for revolution and allows the metal tube 1 to pass through the center through an insertion hole, internal gear 7 which transmits the revolution of the driving source 4 for feed and transmits the revolution to a worm gear, bevel gear, and a guide roller, supporting part 20 for supporting a shaft A, revolution part 12, ceramic guide 13, wire 15 of a wire electric discharge working machine, and a winding-up drum 22. Further, the groove work is applied on the metal tube 1 by the spiral groove working machine.
