This spit-roasted chicken 1 is characterized by being made through the following steps: freezing spit-roasted chickens 2 moderately seasoned with sauce in advance, putting at least one piece of them on a heat-resistant resin plate 3, sealing off the resultant chicken(s) with the plate in a heat- resistant resin package 4 having a heat-releasable type steam pressure adjustable opening 4a, thawing the resultant packaged chicken(s) while adjusting pressure by letting steam generated in the heat-resistant resin package 4 during being cooked with a microwave oven release out of the steam pressure adjustable opening 4a, and heating the thawed chicken(s) followed by taking the heated chicken(s) together with the heat-resistant resin plate 3 out of the heat-resistant resin package 4.
