Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leakage of water at a packing section of a split gate as long as possible. SOLUTION: Spacers 16 are installed in inserting holes 11b of bolts 15 in mounting sections of packing hold-down plates 14 of packings 11 set up by the bolts 15 through the packing hold-down plates 14 on the surfaces and rears of each gate split into upper gates and lower gates 3b. Seal projections 11a are formed to at least either one of the surfaces and rears of the packings 1. Accordingly, the clamping force of the packings is equalized easily when the gates are closed, the meandering of the packings after installation can be inhibited, and a leakage of water can be prevented.
